DE KIMPE CHOOSE PREMIER'S RR TYPE 1 INVERTER
Premier's latest RR Type 1 inverter installation is at the de Kimpe factory near Kortrijk in Belgium.
The system was supplied through sheet metal specialists Finn Power to compliment their recently installed shearing and bending equipment.
De Kimpe provide steel structures for air conditioning units and supermarket shelving among other things. Finn Power's state of the art Express Bender turns steel profiles into shape after the blank sheets have been revolved 180 degrees in Premier's inverter. This ensures that the burred edges are face up and consequently, after bending, are folded safely inwards.
The RR Type 1 is capable of handling blanks up to 3m wide and 3 tonnes in weight (though heavier capacity units are available). Its operation is all hydraulic and totally automated with a single touch push button control. Every RR is custom-built to specification but these are essentially rugged and simple to maintain machines designed to work in the most abrasive environments.

NEW MIDDLE EAST DISTRIBUTOR
Shortly after appointing Al Thika Packaging LLC as our new Middle East distributor, Premier were able to exhibit two styles of pallet inverter at the Material Handling Exhibition in Dubai last month.
Al Thika were confident of an enthusiastic response due to the ever expanding logistics sector in the UAE but nothing prepared them for the number of visitors and enquiries received. Their justifiable confidence has led to a sale of an inverter into Saudi Arabia and they are currently following-up the sizeable number of quotations for machines sent out to prospective customers after the show.
We wish them every success.

Great Success at IMHX show
We would like to thank all visitors who came to see us on our two stands last week at IMHX. For us it was a vibrant show that gave us the chance to display to great effect the quality of our pallet inverters. The show also gave us an excellent opportunity to promote further the Palomat pallet stackers. Widely used on the continent we were pleased to be able to show the huge benefits of employing a pallet stacker rather than using the old more risky manual methods of hand dragging pallets off and onto a stack.
We have had numerous enquiries and of course we will be following these up as quickly as possible.

PREMIER PALLET SYSTEMS - 2 STANDS AT IMHX.
As pallet transfer specialists we will be demonstrating our DD1.25 Inverter on stand number 19M75 at this years IMHX show NEC Birmingham UK.
This is a compact and versatile 180 degree model capable of handling 1250kgs loading by FLT or at ground level by pallet truck. It is part of the widest range of pallet inverters on the market and will soon include the new style Pallet Changer.
We anticipate that by perfecting this system of "hands free" pallet exchange, we are developing a model which will become the industry standard in years to come. It will be sold at a competitive price and available from stock.
The Pallet Changer is ideally complimented by the Palomat pallet dispenser/stacker and demonstrated by us in a dedicated stand number 20F10. The device is offered in a simple compressed air only version or with auto-controls which react each time a pallet is loaded or removed.

2006 - AN EXCELLENT YEAR . . .
PREMIER have enjoyed another brilliant year's business in 2006 with the emphasis on the continued expansion of their sales network.
An agreement has been reached with the Polish company Aporter, part of the huge Wandalex group, to distribute for us in Poland, the Ukraine and Russia. Wandalex are one of the largest suppliers of forklift trucks and handling equipment in Eastern Europe. Launching the inverter at Taropak in Poznan produced immediate positive results.
Other successful shows were held in Paris, Brussels, Gothenburg and Utrecht during 2006.
New distributors were also appointed in Italy, Greece, Portugal, Austria and Oman, all towards the later part of the year. This emphasis will continue in the New Year with launches planned elsewhere in the Middle East where interest in pallet transfer is growing rapidly.
In the meantime, the distributors nearer to home have been doing particularly well with record results in Holland and Belgium in particular.
On the home market, the inverter rental business has been stronger than ever with customers happy to sign up to Premier's highly flexible "try before you buy" options.
